Bone Broth Recipe
It’s hard to imagine optimizing bone health without bone broth. Bone broth helps with bone health because it contains minerals like calcium, magnesium, and phosphorus, which are important for bone density and strength and can help prevent osteoporosis. Bone broth also contains amino acids and collagen, which may help with gut health and joint health.
Serves 1 for a week
Ingredients:
1 Organic stewing chicken
1 lb bones - I like using beef
4 chicken feet - for way more collagen
1 cup up carrot
1 cut up yellow onion
1 cut up celery stalk
2 teaspoons dulse
2 teaspoons sea salt
Mix of favorite herbs I like sage, oreganic, thyme and rosemary
Instructions:
Place all the ingredients in a crack pot
Add filtered water.
Let cook for 8-12 hours.
Add salt to taste
Store in the refrigerator for up to a week.
