I recently got a dehydrator so I’m really into seeing what I can do with it. When you cook food, it loses some of it’s nutrients, but not when you dehydrate it.
This weekend I tried to make some healthy, raw cookies and I’m quite pleased with the result!
The cookies only take a few minutes to make but they need to un-cook in the dehydrator for 4 hours.
If you don’t have a dehydrator, don’t worry, my kids went crazy over the batter before I put them in.
These cookies are a great way to get picky kids to eat nuts; a great source of omegas, protein, and fiber.
People often say, “wow, your kids must be SO regular!” And it’s true, they are, but everyone should be.
If you’re not, add this recipe to your diet and it will help.
