I’m returning to blogging after some needed down time with my 4 children, but now that my littlest is almost 3, I’m ready to get back in the game. The only thing is, I still don’t have a lot of time, hence the new name, ‘Just A Thawt’. I have a ton to share, but not a lot of time, so sometimes my post will be brief so I can still share.
I was recently in Huntsville, Alabama at Space Camp with my son, and I came across this amazing gluten-free bakery. Mason Dixon Bakery offers gluten free and paleo breads, cookies, muffins, etc. I was thrilled to learn they ship out of state, and I’ve since ordered almost everything they have. I don’t really eat bread, but my kids do. I worry about all the arsenic is rice products, and it’s been challenging to find a store bought brand without it. Their white sandwich bread is [GF, DF, EF, V, SF, rice free, corn free, potato free]. It makes great sandwiches and french toast! It’s definitely made life a little easier for me. The paleo bread is the best paleo bread I’ve tried. It’s thin out of necessity, so the kids like the regular white bread better, but both are great options. Their muffins, cupcakes, and cookies are also delicious.
Making your own bread with almond and/or coconut flours is also a great option. I make banana bread almost once a week.
