We cook almost everything we eat at our house because it’s so rare to find something packaged that is unprocessed. Hail Merry Desserts are delicious, gluten-free, and pale friendly – meaning low-glycemic, grain-free and dairy-free.
The coconut vanilla cream is the kid’s favorite. Check out the ingredients: organic shredded coconut, organic extra virgin coconut oil, organic maple syrup, coconut water, almond flour, organic palm sugar*, cashews, organic Madagascar vanilla, sea salt. * palm sugar comes from sustainable farms.
They also have mini pumpkin tarts right now for the holidays that I haven’t tried, but I’ve never ordered anything from Hail Merry that I haven’t liked.
The recipes are similar to what I would make at home but without taking my time! It’s $100 for a 12 pack, so they certainly aren’t cheap, but neither are the ingredients and it’s labor intensive. It’s comparable in price to raw desserts I find at raw food restaurants. Here’s what they say about the cost: PLEASE NOTE: OVERNIGHT SHIPPING COST OF $45.00 IS INCLUDED IN THE PRODUCT PRICE. WE WILL NOT SHIP TARTS ON FRIDAYS. FRIDAY AND WEEKEND ORDERS WILL BE SENT OVERNIGHT ON MONDAYS. Limited distribution nationally. We know the cost per tart is high due to shipping and encourage you to visit a local store to purchase Hail Merry.
Here’s a quick summary of what Hail Merry is about:
BRAND PROMISSORY
WHY: Hail Merry exists to help people achieve higher health.
HOW: By creating truly great tasting snacks using our award winning recipes. Our pure ingredients are consciously sourced and prepared in innovative ways, while also meeting the needs of those with special dietary restrictions.
WHAT: Hail Merry is a category redefining snack-food company born out of the yoga culture that is owned and led by women who seek to nurture each other, our employees, our partners, our families and our customers.
The story of Hail Merry is close to my heart because the Founder, Susan O’Brien, was a 40 year old mom of 3 boys when the company launched. As a 41 year old mom of 3 boys, and as of 7 weeks ago, a baby girl, I can relate. She wanted healthy snacks for her family, and knew others wanted the same. I like to always have a healthy desert available at all times in the kitchen for the kids. On the days when I don’t have time, I’m happy I can pull out some Hail Merry’s from the freezer.
